Kevin W. Rethore concentrates his practice on complex civil and business disputes, professional and fiduciary liability litigation, and trust controversies. He leverages his deep litigation experience and wide-ranging background to counsel individuals, families, fiduciaries, businesses, and nonprofits to help clients achieve their strategic goals and objectives before, during, and after litigation arises. A significant portion of his practice is dedicated to litigation avoidance, including risk mitigation, dispute resolution, and litigation preparedness.
Kevin also has argued before state and federal appellate courts across the country on critical issues, including multiple appeals directed to the scope of personal jurisdiction in the evolving global economic landscape.
His pro bono efforts include representing veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts before the Department of Veterans Affairs, conducting investigative work for the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detentions, working with conservation groups in the Northeast and Mountain West regions, and partnering with clients and community organizations to launch pro bono initiatives.
