There are developments left and right from within EPA, the Army Corps, the Department of the Interior, and the federal courts concerning these federal agencies’ efforts to modify or rescind Obama-era regulations concerning environmental and natural resource-development related rules and policies. Some are favorable for the Administration and some are not, given the sometimes conflict between the Administrative Procedures Act and executive branch agencies exercise of their policy prerogatives.
Join attorney Paul M. Seby for an update to his extremely popular course discussing the current and evolved regulatory landscape and conclusions reached by various courts that have considered these evolving issues. Mr. Seby will discuss a variety of matters, ranging from those involving EPA and the Army Corps’ “Waters of the U.S.” Rule, and the EPA Methane Rules. He will also address the Clean Power Plan and EGU New Source Rule to the BLM’s Hydraulic Fracturing and Venting & Flaring Rules to the EPA’s “Sue and Settle” policy.
