Spahn’s volunteer service project benefitted local nonprofit organization Branches, which provides financial stability services to the South Florida community. Her team helped revamp one of the organization’s campuses and established a community festival to help the organization raise visibility of its services, raising a total of $81,792 for the project benefitting Branches in monetary and in-kind donations. The team also established two scholarships for individuals and families receiving services from Branches, and independently as Generation Miami, Inc., plans to fund those scholarships for the next several years.

Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, GMCC’s Leadership Miami is an annual program in partnership with the South Florida Progress Foundation. The program offers participants an intensive learning experience that focuses on community issues and leadership development through a planned series of lectures, seminars, small group discussions, leadership skills exercises, and most importantly, participation in a volunteer service project.

At Greenberg Traurig, Spahn focuses her practice on commercial litigation. In addition to handling complex commercial matters in various forums, including state and federal court and arbitrations, Spahn’s practice includes representing clients in matters involving the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
