Greenberg Traurig’s Tracy L. Gerber Presents Mock Securities Arbitration at The Wharton School

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. March  17, 2015Tracy L. Gerber, Co-Managing Shareholder in the West Palm Beach office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., presented "A Mock Securities Arbitration: As Close As You Want To Get" at the Securities Industry Institute (SII) at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The Mock Securities Arbitration presentation by Gerber offered participants a condensed proceeding based on common investor disputes.

The Securities Industry Institute is held each March at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. SII is a three-consecutive year program with a customized executive curriculum that is redesigned each year to reflect the needs of an ever-changing industry landscape. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a certificate that is recognized among the leading firms in the industry.

Gerber, a member of the firm's National Securities Litigation practice group as well as the National Labor and Employment practice group, represents major broker-dealers in FINRA arbitrations, regulatory proceedings, and state and federal courts. As lead counsel in the defense of financial services firms, she has litigated numerous sales practice and employment cases involving millions of dollars in controversy. Gerber also serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and is a frequent speaker on the subject of securities arbitration.
