Greenberg Traurig lures group from DLA Piper to expand Dallas practice

Law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP has lured Karl G. Dial and Casey L. Moore to its 600-member Litigation Practice as shareholders in the Dallas office.

Dial, former managing partner of DLA Piper in Dallas, and Moore, also from DLA Piper, are joining the Dallas office along with DLA associate, Samuel G. Davison.

Dial, who is also a CPA, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, while Moore's experience lies in commercial and financial services litigation. The addition of Dial and Moore completes a transition of five attorneys from DLA Piper that includes Manuel Rajunov and Dania Duncan, who joined Greenberg Traurig at the beginning of the month.

Since July 2015, Greenberg Traurig has added about 75 shareholders and elevated 30 attorneys to shareholder status, adding strength in areas including private equity, M&A, white collar defense and investigations, cybersecurity, complex litigation and real estate.

The firm’s leaders said it’s growing to meet client demand.
