Greenberg Traurig’s Rob Herrington to Speak at Perrin Class Action Litigation Conference

LOS ANGELES – May 10, 2016 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Robert J. Herrington will be a featured speaker at the Perrin Class Action Litigation Conference Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Ritz-Carlton in Chicago, Illinois. He will be speaking on the “Class Action Trials” panel at 11:15 a.m. The panel will discuss the topics: “Are we seeing an upward trend?” and “How to prepare a class for a trial.”

Herrington, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Los Angeles office, serves as co-chair of the firm’s Products Liability & Mass Torts Practice. He focuses his practice on defending consumer products companies in complex, multi-party litigation, including class actions, government enforcement litigation, product defect litigation, and mass torts. Herrington represents companies in a variety of industries, including apparel and footwear, retail, emerging technologies, advertising and publicity, online retailing, food and beverage, nutritional supplements, personal care products, and sports and fitness.

Herrington is also the author of the best-selling book, Verdict for the Defense (Sutton Hart Press 2011), and a co-author of The Class Action Fairness Act: Law and Strategy (ABA Publishing 2013).
