Greenberg Traurig Nabs Real Estate Pro For Boston Office

Greenberg Traurig LLP has grown its real estate group with the addition of a veteran attorney experienced in all aspects of complex land deals as a shareholder in the firm’s Boston office, expanding the practice’s already deep bench of lawyers in the U.S. and abroad.

Edward S. Hershfield comes to Greenberg from with over 25 years of experience at Brown Rudnik LLP fine tuning complex real estate transactions, working out the specifics of financing, restructuring, zoning and land use matters, among things, according to a statement from the firm.

“Ed is held in high regard by his clients and has a reputation for advising on complicated, high-stakes real estate deals,” said Terence P. McCourt, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Boston office, in a statement released earlier this month. “His deep and diverse experience complements our strong and growing real estate group in Boston. We welcome him to the firm.”
