New York – June 6, 2017 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Justin J. Prochnow will be speaking at the American Conference Institute’s 5th Annual Legal, Regulatory and Compliance Forum on Dietary Supplements, which is being held June 26th-28th, at the InterContinental New York Times Square.

At 10:45 a.m. on Monday, June 26th, Prochnow will be speaking at the session “Evolving State, Federal and Agency Enforcement Priorities Impacting the Dietary Supplement Industry.” This session will discuss various state AGs-led efforts and formed coalitions focused on consumer protection actions against the dietary supplement industry. This panel will explore trends and concerns in DOJ and FDA enforcement activity and how they may impact the industry.

According to their website, ACI, in collaboration with CRN, presents this 5th forum on dietary supplements as industry representatives share insights on the new administration’s impact on industry regulation, trade, and commerce; NDI Draft guidance; new FTC and NAD claims substantiations; and supply chain protocols, among other topics.

Prochnow, a shareholder in the Denver Litigation Practice and co-chair of Food & Beverage Group, focuses his practice on assisting companies with regulatory, business, and legal needs in the beverage, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, medical device, and OTC industries. He works closely with companies to ensure regulatory compliance with statutes and regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, and other regulatory agencies, including the review of product labels, labeling, advertising, websites, and other marketing materials. Prochnow and his team also defend industry companies from both governmental agencies and civil litigators in litigation ranging from breach of contract cases to the growing number of class actions alleging false and misleading advertising.
