Greenberg Traurig Denver Women's Initiative Holds Dress for Success Collection Event Sept. 13

DENVER – Sept. 6, 2017 –The Greenberg Traurig Women’s Initiative (GTWI) Denver team will hold a collection event on Wednesday, Sept. 13 to benefit Dress for Success. GTWI’s Denver office leaders include Naomi G. Beer, shareholder in the firm’s Litigation Practice; Renée O’Rourke, shareholder in the firm’s Benefits & Compensation Practice; Amy Kramer, associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice; and Laura Jones, associate and member of the firm’s American Indian Law Practice.

"One of the goals of this event, in addition to that of collecting much-needed items for Dress for Success, is to encourage our Greenberg Traurig family, clients, and the community at large to get ever increasingly involved in helping to improve the lives of women in the Denver-metro area," Beer said.

GTWI promotes a uniquely empowering and diverse culture where individuals are respected and have the opportunity to contribute, develop leadership skills, and grow their business. Through the GTWI and Greenberg Traurig Denver office’s Great Minds Great Hearts campaign, the firm supports the inclusion and advancement of women in the legal profession with unique programming and resources designed to benefit the firm’s attorneys, their clients, and future lawyers. The Great Minds Great Hearts program, part of the overall Greenberg Traurig Philanthropic Fund, provides grants to local nonprofits in categories including Arts & Culture, Diversity, Education, Leadership, and People in Need. The organizations chosen to receive funding also count on the active participation and support of Greenberg Traurig attorneys.

Greenberg Traurig’s drive is focused on donations of women’s professional business accessories for Dress for Success, including: work appropriate shoes, jewelry, watches, scarves, belts, and handbags; and leather portfolios, briefcases, pocketbooks, checkbooks, billfolds, and wallets.

If you have items to donate, contact Amy Kramer, 303.685.7449 or Laura Jones, 303.685.7481.
