Greenberg Traurig Hosts 5th Annual MedTech Summer Networking Reception with MassMEDIC

BOSTON – Aug. 3, 2018 – Greenberg Traurig LLP’s global Life Sciences & Medical Technology Group recently held its 5th annual MedTech Summer Networking Reception with MassMEDIC at the firm’s Boston office.

David J. Dykeman, a past MassMEDIC board member and co-chair of the practice group, hosted the July 23 event with Roman Fayerberg, fellow Greenberg Traurig shareholder and patent attorney. 

It marked the first joint public appearance for MassMEDIC Founder and President Tom Sommer and his successor, journalist, and MassDevice.com Co-Founder Brian Johnson. The duo discussed the transition in power and plans for MassMEDIC, the largest regional medtech association in the country.  Both Sommer and Johnson spoke about a bright future for medical technology companies in Massachusetts and globally, citing growing demands for innovative products.

Brian Rosnov, senior managing director and co-founder of Philips HealthWorks, provided the keynote remarks, “MedTech at Philips.”
