Richards, a member of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice, will provide opening remarks to and participate in a panel titled, "Promoting LGBTQ Rights in the Workplace: From Policy to Practice" on Oct. 11 at 10:45 a.m. He will be joined by Ryan McLean, Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, Biogen; Sandye Taylor, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion, RBC Capital Markets; and Beck Bailey, Director, Workplace Equality Program, Human Rights Campaign. The panelists will discuss how their respective companies have implemented policies to support the rights of LGBTQ employees and how they have translated those policies to practice. They will also address changes that have been made to support and protect LGBTQ employees in the post #MeToo era.
ROMBA is an annual LGBTQ MBA and graduate conference that educates, inspires, and connects the next generation of LGBTQ leaders. According to the conference website, the three-day event has grown over the past 11 years to an 1,800-person conference and Reaching Out has become a year-round, operating non-profit organization with over a dozen unique programs dedicated to impacting change in the workplace and creating leaders.
