Greenberg Traurig’s Jamie Rich Speaks at the ABA Annual Section of Labor and Employment Law Conference

SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 11, 2019 –  Jamie Rich of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP spoke at the ABA Annual Section of Labor and Employment Law Conference, Nov. 8, in New Orleans.

Sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, the 3-day conference focused on all aspects of labor and employment law practice. Speakers included law professors, industry leaders, and attorneys in the labor and employment industry. Topics included discrimination, harassment and retaliation, employee benefits, employment in the federal and international sector, pay equity, labor management and ethics, and more.

On Nov. 8, Rich participated as a panelist in a session titled, “The Ethics of Collective Bargaining: Bigger and Better.” Panelists discussed ethical issues in collective bargaining agreements. Rich focused her remarks on confidentiality issues that may arise in connection with negotiations, including navigating attorney-client privilege issues.

Rich, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s San Francisco and Sacramento office and member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice, represents clients in labor and employment suits in state and federal court. In the area of traditional labor law, Rich represents management in collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
