Greenberg Traurig’s Danielle Gonzalez Appointed To United Way of Miami Dade’s Women United Executive Committee

MIAMI – June 26, 2019 – Danielle Gonzalez, a Real Estate shareholder in the Miami office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been appointed to the United Way of Miami-Dade’s Women United Executive Committee. Women United is connected to United Way Worldwide’s growing, global movement representing more than 70,000 women in 165 communities across six countries.

The organization’s membership represents a diverse and inclusive force of passionate, philanthropic women dedicated to building stronger communities. Together, they strive to create a society that provides an outlet for everyone to connect, inspire, promote, support, and empower one another.

“I am honored to join the United Way of Miami-Dade’s Women United Executive Committee and I look forward to working with my fellow committee members to help bring the group’s goals to life,” Gonzalez said. “It will be a pleasure to be among other driven individuals with a mission to advocate for the betterment of every member of their community.”

As an Executive Committee member, Gonzalez will work as part of United Women’s leadership to foster participation, commitment, and growth to achieve the organization’s vision.

At Greenberg Traurig, Gonzalez focuses her practice on commercial real estate law. She represents national and local clients in connection with the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of retail centers, office buildings, industrial parks, multi-family residential properties, self-storage centers, parking facilities, and raw-land developments throughout the United States. Gonzalez possesses vast experience advising on commercial leasing, and represents both landlords and tenants on leases covering all real estate asset classes. She also represents sellers and purchasers with the acquisition and disposition of numerous types of real property. In addition, Gonzalez counsels borrowers in connection with secured financings, including acquisition loans, refinances, and defeasances. She also has experience counseling retail clients on the development of shopping center pads for brand-specific uses, including the negotiation of ground leases, CC&Rs, easements, and design guidelines. In addition, she counsels owners and managers in the negotiation of property management, as well as parking facility, agreements.

Active in numerous other community service organizations in addition to the United Way, Gonzalez is a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where she chairs the annual “Splash Bash Brunch.” She is actively involved in the Chapman Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the American Cancer Society, the Miami Finance Forum, the National Association of Women Lawyers, and CREW Miami. Gonzalez is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Cornell Club of Greater Miami, the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network, and the Georgetown Law Alumni Association.
