Greenberg Traurig’s Lisa McCurdy to Speak at Women in Legal & Corporate Leadership Summit: Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES  – Nov. 12, 2020 –   Lisa McCurdy of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will participate as a speaker in the Women in Legal & Corporate Leadership Summit: Los Angeles. She will speak in a session titled “Parenthood & Career: Mastering the Balancing Act,” scheduled for Nov. 12 at 2:15 p.m. PT. 

The session will explore the obstacles of balancing parental and other caregiver responsibilities while trying to succeed in a traditionally male-oriented legal profession. The panel will discuss important topics, such as changing workplace culture and introducing programs that can reduce stress and enhance productivity. McCurdy will be joined on the panel by inhouse counsel for Southern California Edison, Integra Beauty, and Harley-Davidson.

The virtual summit, which is sponsored by Greenberg Traurig, will cover topical issues for women and minorities in the legal profession and provide an opportunity for attendees to collaborate across the diverse statewide legal community, participate in high-value programming, and engage in meaningful networking opportunities.

McCurdy, who is a litigation shareholder in the firm's Los Angeles office, practices commercial civil litigation, with a particular focus on retail, consumer products and services, and real estate and financing litigation - including commercial lease litigation. She also has deep experience in trust and estate litigation, particularly regarding trusts and estates with significant real estate and business holdings.
