National Diversity Council Names Greenberg Traurig’s Nikki Lewis Simon to its 2020 Top Chief Diversity Officers List

MIAMI  – Nov. 16, 2020 – Nikki Lewis Simon, Chief Diversity Officer and shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been recognized by the National Diversity Council as one its 2020 Top Chief Diversity Officers. Other honorees hold similar roles at largest and most recognized businesses. The recognition honors the efforts of diversity officers who “have the leadership and counsel to maintain and further diversity and inclusion initiatives and provide innovative solutions to strategically prioritize the preservation and advocacy of diverse talent at an organization or company,” according to the council.

The award was announced during council’s virtual Diversity and Leadership Conference held Oct. 27-28 and Nov. 4-5. The event was centered on the theme is “Inclusion - Maximizing Your Talent.”

Simon, a commercial litigator based in Miami, has more than 21 years of experience as a lawyer, including practical and professional experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion. In her capacity as Greenberg Traurig’s Chief Diversity Officer, Simon designs and guides strategic initiatives and programs to deepen firmwide diversity and inclusion efforts that further enrich client engagements and community investments. Her role is indicative of, and integral to, Greenberg Traurig’s core values of collaboration and inclusion.
