MINNEAPOLIS – March 17, 2020 – The Minneapolis office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues its strategic expansion with the addition of Allison M. Seeley as of counsel in the firm’s Corporate Trust Services Practice.
“We are happy to welcome Allison to Greenberg Traurig as we continue to grow our corporate trust capabilities in the firm and in Minneapolis,” said Michael B. Fisco, managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Minneapolis office. “Allison is a terrific lawyer and her prior experience advising on corporate trust matters at a large national bank will make her a valuable addition to the team.”
Seeley focuses her practice on advising financial institutions on their corporate trust transactions, with a concentration on structured finance transactions. She has wide-ranging experience advising on a variety of complex agreements, including trust and agency agreements, custodial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other related agreements.
Prior to joining the firm, Seeley served as Senior Contract Strategist & Counsel at Deluxe Corporation, where she advised and worked on a wide-range of transactions and contractual matters. She also served as a primary contract and business negotiations consultant for a large national bank advising on corporate trust, paying agent, and exchange agent matters, including transfer agent service agreements and corporate action agreements. She also worked for a major national bank advising on and negotiating third-party vendor service agreements consistent with the bank’s legal and regulatory standards.
The combination of her in-house experience and transactional management and business experience at two large financial institutions allows her to provide her clients with a blend of business understanding and client-focus.
Seeley earned her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and her B.A. from Luther College.
