Greenberg Traurig Elevates 3 Attorneys in its Washington, D.C. Office

WASHINGTON, D.C.  April 6, 2020 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Samantha Ahuja and Nicholas N. Palmer to shareholder and Michael Pusateri to of counsel in its Washington, D.C. office.  

Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig announced the elevation of 44 attorneys to shareholder and 34 to of counsel in more than 20 areas of legal practice. The firm, which spans 41 offices worldwide, also reported a sixth consecutive year of record revenue of more than USD $1.64 billion.

Ahuja focuses her practice on hotel acquisitions, operations, development and finance, hotel management agreements, licensing agreements, and commercial real estate acquisition and sale. She advises domestic and international clients on the acquisition and disposition of hotels and other commercial property, hotel management and operations, franchising, licensing and branding, restaurant management agreements, lease negotiations, and casino agreements.

Palmer focuses his practice on commercial real estate and hospitality matters. He represents clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and leasing of office, retail, and mixed-use buildings. Palmer also represents clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, management, franchising, licensing, and branding of hotels and resorts.

Pusateri defends national and international companies and individuals in state, federal, and administrative tribunals across the country. He has represented the mining and insurance industries in rulemaking proceedings, regulatory challenges, adjudications, and appeals before the Department of Labor and the Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. He has also defended clients from the food, pharmaceutical, publishing, energy, and financial service sectors, among others.
