Greenberg Traurig's Chia-Feng Lu to Host Webinar with Shonan i-Park

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Feb. 25, 2020 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Health Care & FDA Practice Shareholder Chia-Feng Lu will host a webinar with Shonan Health Innovation Park (Shonan i-Park) on March 3. Shonan i-park is an organization and ecosystem comprising researchers, industry experts, venture startups, government, and academia who collaborate and co-create to accelerate research, with the aim of transforming cutting-edge science into impactful health solutions for patients worldwide.

Lu’s webinar will guide Japanese life sciences companies on what to expect under the four-year Biden administration and will talk through managing the new deal making and business operation environment. He will outline the coming changes in terms of product development approach, corporate finance, business development and licensing, and commercialization and operation. Other webinar topics will include the Biden Administration’s top health care priorities within the first 100 days in office, how the health care market will be shaped within the next four years, and the potential coverage expansion and drug pricing reform.

In addition, Lu will discuss the regulatory scheme shift in novel technology, covering topics such as accelerated approval, digital health, diagnostics, supply chain and manufacturing, regenerative medicine, and consumer health products.

Lu represents life sciences and emerging technology companies in strategic regulatory and legislative processes before various government agencies, to guide and develop new legislation and policy, to frame effective approaches to working with the various agencies on compliance and investigation issues, and to help clients develop strategic plans to obtain regulatory approval of their innovative products.

This includes Lu providing counsel on the development and commercialization of novel technology products, such as cell therapy, cancer immunotherapy, mobile health and digital health products, microorganism, precision medicine-related products and services, regenerative medicine, 3D-printing, etc. Among all his representations, Lu has been involved in several products based on Nobel-winning science.
