Greenberg Traurig Cross-Border Team Assists Barinboim Group Consortium in Acquisition of Finalto

LONDON – June 1, 2021 – A cross-border attorney team from global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented the Barinboim Group, an Israel-based private investment company, which has led a consortium of investors through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) that signed an agreement to acquire Finalto, which is UK-based Playtech plc’s financial trading division. Playtech is a leader in the B2B and B2C gambling software market.

The acquisition, recently reported by several media outlets, is valued at $210 million.  In addition to Barinboim, the SPV is backed by Leumi Partners and Menora Mivtachim Insurance.
