Smith (Smitty) W. Davis focuses his practice on both legal reform (litigation-related policy matters) across a broad range of industries and issues related to natural gas pipelines. His work with respect to pipelines has centered on multiemployer pension policy and environmental issues.
Over the course of his career, Smitty has also provided public policy counsel on topics ranging from telecommunications and environmental law to legal reform and energy pipeline matters before numerous congressional committees, including the Judiciary Committees, the House Energy and Commerce Committee, the House Education and the Workforce Committee, the House Financial Services Committee, and the Senate Banking Committee. In addition, Smitty has served as counsel to the House Judiciary Committee and its Crime Subcommittee.
