Vivek Ganti

Vivek Ganti, a registered patent attorney, maintains a patent portfolio practice, working with businesses of all sizes on building patent portfolios that align with their strategic and business objectives. His clients range from small companies seeking to protect core technologies to larger companies continuing to innovate, as well as companies interested in developing patent portfolios for licensing or litigation purposes.

Vivek has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, involving a broad range of technologies such as sensors, video transcoding, server-client systems, network connectivity, Internet of Things, wireless and cellular networks, integrated circuit fabrication, power amplification, broadband gateway devices, packet switched networks, mesh networks, server blade systems, analog circuits, pneumatic systems, digital signal processing, Basic Input/Output Systems, other computer-based systems, and various mechanical systems.

Vivek additionally represents clients in matters pertaining to patent enforcement and defense, post grant review, and technology licensing. In addition to appearing several district court matters, he has participated in over 40 inter partes review proceedings, typically serving as lead counsel. He also handles appeals to the Federal Circuit, where he has served as first chair.
