Christina C. George focuses her practice on finance and commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of owners, developers and financial institutions in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and various types of financing.

Experience

  • Represented a large national bank in loan transactions relating to property in Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Missouri, including a series of construction loans totaling approximately $20 million for development of urgent care centers.°
  • Represented a large regional bank in loan transactions, including construction loans for hotels, senior care, and self-storage facilities, restaurants, and residential subdivisions, totaling over $75 million in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.°
  • Represented a farm credit association in loan and workout transactions relating to property in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Florida, including approximately $30 million loan workout transaction involving 5,000+ acres of real property collateral.°
  • Represented an owner in 1031 like-kind exchange transactions, including approximately $10 million sale of medical facility in Kentucky and approximately $20 million aggregate purchases of apartment complex replacement properties in Georgia.°
  • Served as bond counsel and lender counsel in $10 million tax-exempt industrial revenue bond issue by Kentucky municipality for renovation and equipping of school.°
  • Served as special counsel for state teachers’ retirement system in drafting lease amendments for Kentucky properties.°
  • Served as local counsel in drafting opinion letters for several multimillion-dollar commercial lending transactions.°
  • Served as local counsel in reviewing title work and drafting deeds for approximately $40 million petroleum business acquisition in Ohio.°
