On Friday, September 28th, the Boston Bar Association will host its Annual Meeting bringing together bar members throughout the Commonwealth for a morning focused on engaging the legal community in disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline. The event will feature keynote speaker, James Forman, Jr., a former public defender and author of the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction winner, Locking Up Our Own: Crime and Punishment in Black America.
