Hillsborough County Bar Association Foundation - Law & Liberty Dinner

Adversity helped Henry Winkle find his true self.   Before Henry Winkler became an Emmy Award-winning actor, author, director, and producer, he had to overcome the challenge of dyslexia.  Join the Hillsborough County Bar Association Foundation to hear firsthand the secret of his success.

Last year’s event provided HCBAF with the ability to distribute $100,000 in outreach grants to six local organizations that provide civil legal assistance to the most vulnerable, in need, in our community.  Over the years, our Law & Liberty Dinner events have provided more than $825,000 in grants and we look forward to adding to that number again this year.  It is our goal to raise enough from this year’s event to bring the cumulative outreach grant total to $1million.  HCBAF outreach grants have benefited Bay Area Legal Services L. David Shear Children's Law Center and the Judge Don Castor Community Law Center; Voices for Children Guardian ad Litem Program; The Spring of Tampa Bay's Deputized Advocacy Program, Crossroads for Florida Kids, Mary Lee's House, Gift of Adoption - Florida Chapter, West Florida for Trafficking Advocacy, Major General Ernest A. and Marilyn Bedke Veterans Legal Center of Bay Area Legal Services, and Connected by 25.
