Justice David Medina's Portrait Unveiling Ceremony

GT Houston Shareholder Roland Garcia gave remarks at Justice David Medina's official portrait unveiling ceremony on Wednesday, October 21. Judge Medina's portrait now hangs in the 157th Civil District Court of Harris County, Texas. 

Judge Medina was originally appointed as Judge of the 157th in 1996 by Gov. George Bush. He was elected twice and served as the judge of the 157th until 2000. He was the first Hispanic Republican District Court Judge elected in Harris County. He was later appointed to the Texas Supreme Court by Gov. Rick Perry and served there from 2004-2012.
