Greenberg Traurig LLP Expands White Collar Criminal Defense Practice With Addition of Former U.S. Attorney A. John Pappalardo to the Boston Office

Office Adds Associates to Corporate, Health and Litigation Law teams

BOSTON, MA -- March 8, 2001 -- Greenberg Traurig LLP today announced A. John Pappalardo has joined the firm as a shareholder in the Boston office.

Pappalardo joins Greenberg Traurig from the law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott in Boston. Pappalardo was a Member in the firm's Litigation Department. His practice is focused in the area of white collar criminal defense and related matters, representing individuals and corporations in federal and state investigations. His cases have included matters involving health care fraud, defense procurement fraud, securities fraud, political corruption, bankruptcy fraud, computer fraud, criminal tax, regulatory matters, campaign finance matters, medical ethics and commercial bribery.

Prior to entering private practice, Pappalardo served as U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the Suffolk University Law School.

The firm has also added three new associates to its Boston office.

William Keith Bryant has joined the firm's corporate department as an associate. He is a graduate of the Florida State University College of Law.

Michael R. Costa has joined the health care department as an associate. He is a graduate of the Suffolk University Law School.

Annapoorni R. Sankaran has joined the firm's litigation department as an associate. She is a graduate of the Boston University School of Law.
