Greenberg Traurig’s Antonio Peña Named to Board of Directors of Spain-United States Chamber of Commerce

MIAMI (Dec.  17, 2014) – Antonio Peña, a shareholder in the Corporate & Securities practice in the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. has been named to the Board of Directors for the Spain-United States Chamber of Commerce.

Peña will serve a three-year term as one of 15 members on the Board of Directors, which includes representatives from top companies in the international business community. The new board members were announced on Dec. 13 at the 34th anniversary gala at the Coral Gables Country Club in Coral Gables, Fla.

“I am honored to join this board and look forward to contributing to the continued success of the Spain-United States Chamber of Commerce,” Peña said.

At Greenberg Traurig, Peña represents companies and investment funds in connection with their strategic and financial investments in the United States, Spain and Latin America. Peña is a member of the team that received the “2014 Corporate/M&A Law Firm of the Year – International Counsel in Latin America” award at the sixth-annual Chambers and Partners Latin America Awards for Excellence ceremony.

Peña is involved in the leadership and management of a multitude of community and professional organizations including Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida; Board, Law and Business Review of the Americas; and U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
