Greenberg Traurig’s Nancy Mitchell and Nancy Peterman Named ‘Top 100: Restructuring & Turnaround Professionals’ by Global M&A Network

CHICAGO (July 10, 2014) – Attorneys Nancy A. Mitchell and Nancy A. Peterman from the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP have been named among the “Top 100: Restructuring & Turnaround Professionals” by the Global M&A Network. The organization made the official announcement on July 2, 2014.

According to the Global M&A Network website, the highly competitive list includes 100 of the most “accomplished, influential, brilliant, and innovative professionals from the global restructuring, distressed M&A and insolvency communities.” The professionals featured on the list have a demonstrable track record and many of them have also advised on 2014 Turnaround Atlas Awards winning transactions. Mitchell and Peterman were two of only 40 lawyers selected for the coveted list. The remainder of the list includes consultants and investment bankers.

Mitchell is Co-Chair of the Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring Practice at Greenberg Traurig. She has more than 25 years of experience in restructuring and corporate finance as both an attorney and an investment banker.

Peterman is Chair of the firm’s Chicago Business Reorganization & Financial Restructuring Practice. She focuses her practice on corporate restructurings, bankruptcy and creditors' rights law, and has a wide range of experience representing debtors, purchasers of assets, committees and secured creditors.
