Greenberg Traurig’s Susan L. Heller Moderates Panel At Managing Intellectual Property’s Women’s Leadership Forum

SILICON VALLEY, Calif. – Dec. 14, 2015 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Susan L. Heller moderated a panel last week at the Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) International Women’s Leadership Forum, which took place Dec. 11 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California. Heller serves as chair of the firm’s Global Trademark and Brand Management Group as well as co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Global Women’s Initiative.

According to MIP’s website, the forum is a popular gathering for women in-house and IP counsel who wish to engage with one another on the latest intellectual property (IP) topics, develop their personal brand, and further their legal career. The MIP Women in IP Global Network has over 700 members globally, comprised of IP in-house counsel, general counsel, private practice lawyers, heads of IP, and patent counsel.

Heller moderated the panel titled, “The Importance of Leadership in Developing Your Career,” wherein she and the other panelists discussed topics such as building a diverse business network, identifying attributes of leadership, and what they would tell their younger self if they could go back to the start of their career.
