Four Greenberg Traurig Attorneys to Speak at ICE Totally Gaming 2015

LONDON – Feb. 3, 2015 – Shareholders Martha A. Sabol, Mark A. Clayton, Loretta A. Tuell, and Laura McAllister Cox with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP are speaking at ICE Totally Gaming 2015 taking place Feb. 3 – 5, 2015, in London, U.K. Michael J. Bonner, J. Daniel Walsh, and Kate Eades, members of the firm’s Global Gaming Practice, are also attending.

Sabol, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Gaming Practice and vice president of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), is speaking Feb. 3. She will moderate the panel, “The Future of Federal and State Gaming and Gambling Legislation in the U.S.” Panelists will discuss the midterm election and U.S. Congress action on iGaming, state licensing, and cross-border opportunities for pooling technology, poker liquidity, and KYC measures.

Clayton, co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Gaming Practice, is speaking Feb. 4. He will be on the panel, “Global iGaming - What Does Compliance Mean.” Panelists will address compliance with the laws of jurisdictions in which various games are offered, either as a B2B, B2C, or B2G. They also will examine how the regulated and regulators might deal with the application of multi-jurisdictional laws and what due diligence registrants should undertake.

Tuell, a member of the firm’s Gaming Practice, is speaking Feb. 3. She will moderate the panel, “Navigating the Politics of Indian Country.” Panelists will discuss how Indian gaming influences state and national politics in the United States as well as how to avoid the pitfalls of tribal politics.

McAllister Cox, a member of the firm’s Gaming Practice and a presenter at the inaugural Japan Gaming Congress that took place in Tokyo last year, is speaking at the Japan Breakfast Briefing Feb. 5. She will be on the panel, “Japan Update: How Close Are We?” The panelists will address how integrated resorts might be regulated, the driving factors that will affect the regulatory landscape, and which regulatory models are considered most fitting to adopt.

According to the conference website, ICE Totally Gaming is the largest and most comprehensive trade event in gaming. The conference brings together members of the government, key industry leaders, and distinguished local and international market representatives as they discuss the latest developments, industry challenges, and witness hundreds of new product launches over three days.
