Greenberg Traurig’s Ian C. Ballon to Speak During Practising Law Institute’s ‘Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2015’ Seminar and Webcast

SILICON VALLEY, Calif – March 2, 2015 –  Ian C. Ballon, an Intellectual Property, Internet and Mobile Litigation shareholder at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak during the Practising Law Institute (PLI) conference entitled “Counseling Clients in the Entertainment Industry 2015” at 11 a.m. EST, March 4, 2015. The seminar is being held at PLI’s New York facility and on the Web via a webcast.

According to the PLI website, the seminar will cover entertainment law issues; television, video and user-generated content; videogames and software apps; personal management and agency contracts; building an entertainment law practice; and ethics. Additionally, there will be a focus on new methods of delivery in the industry. Ballon will be speaking on the topic of “Current Developments in Mobile, Cloud and Digital/Internet Entertainment Litigation.”

Mr. Ballon represents clients in IP, technology and Internet-, cloud- and mobile-related litigation, including copyright, DMCA, CDA, trademark, trade secret and right of publicity cases and the defense of data privacy, security breach, behavioral advertising, and TCPA class action suits.
