Greenberg Traurig’s Erika G. Litvak and Brigid F. Cech Samole Selected for Daily Business Review’s 2015 "On the Rise" Recognition

MIAMI – July 30, 2015 – Two Greenberg Traurig Miami Shareholders, Erika G. Litvak and Brigid F. Cech Samole, have been named to the Daily Business Review’s “On the Rise” class of 2015. This selection honors 40 South Florida lawyers under the age of 40 who are active leaders in the community.

Honorees were selected based on their professional and community involvement and will be recognized at an event in September.

At Greenberg Traurig, Litvak concentrates her practice on taxation, with special emphasis on international taxation. Elevated to shareholder in 2011, she is an author and frequent lecturer who routinely speaks on a variety of topics, in English and Spanish, to both U.S. and international audiences for groups that include the Florida International Banking Association, Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, and many others. Litvak serves as a member of the Board of Directors and the Branch Event Committee of STEP Miami. Litvak is also an adjunct professor in the University of Miami’s LL.M Program of Taxation. She has prepared comments on behalf of the Florida Bar to the U.S. Treasury on various tax issues.

Elevated to shareholder in 2011, Cech Samole focuses her practice on appellate law and trial support. She is experienced in representing clients in both state and federal courts, and brings a practical and client-driven approach to her work. Cech Samole is involved in a multitude of professional and community organizations including: Member, Board of Trustees of Chapman Partnership for the Homeless; Co-Liaison (Miami office), Greenberg Traurig’s Women’s Initiative; and Co-Vice Chair, Business Law Section, Appellate Subcommittee for the American Bar Association.
