Former Governor Joins Greenberg Traurig

Greenberg Traurig announced today former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens has joined the international law firm’s Denver office as senior director in the government law and policy practice where he will advise and assist clients on capital and infrastructure projects as well as public policy matters.

“Gov. Owens’ experience working in the public and private sectors greatly enhances our ability to advise clients who are increasingly involved in such matters,” Denver office managing partner David Palmer said. “We are thrilled to have him join Greenberg Traurig.”

Owens served two terms as governor of Colorado and was elected by his colleagues to serve as Chair of both the Western Governors Association and the Republican Governors Association. Owens also served as state treasurer where he managed the state’s $5 billion investment portfolio.
