Former Houston Controller Joins Greenberg Traurig

Ronald C. Green, a former Houston city controller and councilman, has joined Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder in Houston after closing down his private practice.

Green, who will do public finance and government law and policy at Greenberg Traurig, said he likes the opportunities at his new firm, its large network of offices and the firm's culture.

Green, who formerly practiced at The Green Firm in Houston, served on Houston city council from 2004 through 2010, and was the city's controller from 2010 through 2015.
