Greenberg Traurig’s Managing Partner Jarosław Grzesiak Named M&A “Lawyer of the Year” in Poland

WARSAW – June 22, 2016 – In the fifth edition of Best Lawyers in Poland, Jarosław Grzesiak, the managing partner of Greenberg Traurig’s Warsaw office, was recognized by Best Lawyers as the 2016-2017 “Mergers and Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year in Warsaw, Poland.” The “Lawyer of the Year” recognition is awarded to individual attorneys with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic location.

Grzesiak was previously recognized as the Warsaw, Poland Best Lawyers Private Equity “Lawyer of the Year” in 2013 and as Capital Markets “Lawyer of the Year” in 2014. He has also been selected by his peers as a recommended lawyer in Corporate Law, Capital Markets, and Private Equity.

“I feel very privileged to be yet again distinguished in such a unique ranking and flattered to be recognized in this way by my fellow colleagues,” said Grzesiak.

Senior Partner Lejb Fogelman is recommended in the category of Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity in the 2016-2017 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Poland.

Several other lawyers from the Warsaw office were selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers 2016-2017 in Poland: Michał Fereniec with respect to Information Technology, M&A, Technology and Telecommunications; Paweł Pietkiewicz in the Arbitration and Mediation and Litigation category; and Andrzej Wysokiński in the following categories: Banking and Finance, Arbitration and Mediation as well as Litigation.

Agnieszka Stankiewicz, Marek Grodek, and Bartosz Clemenz were recommended in Real Estate, with Stankiewicz additionally recognized in Corporate Law in the 2016-2017 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Poland.

Ireneusz Matusielański, Rafał Sieński, Paweł Piotrowski, and Daniel Kaczorowski are recognized in the Capital Markets category in the 2016-2017 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Poland.

Marek Kozaczuk and Tomasz Kacymirow are recommended with respect to Tax in the 2016-2017 Edition of The Best Lawyers in Poland.
