Lori Cohen and Sara Thompson to Speak at ACI’s Drug & Medical Device Litigation Conference

NEW YORK – Dec. 04, 2017 – Lori G. Cohen and Victoria Davis Lockard, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Atlanta office, will speak at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 22nd Annual Conference on Drug & Medical Device Litigation, taking place in New York, Dec. 4-6. Greenberg Traurig is also a lead sponsor of the conference.

Cohen, who chairs the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice and the Trial Practice Group, and co-chairs the Atlanta Litigation practice, will moderate the opening GC and CLO Roundtable: “What Keeps Them Up at Night When Faced With a Products Liability Action” on the first Main Conference Day, Dec. 5 at 8:45 a.m. Lockard, vice-chair of the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice, will be part of an Afternoon Breakout Session on “Anticipating the Next Wave of Cyber Attacks in the Medical Device Industry: Examining the Issues Surrounding the Potential Hacking of Software in Connected Medical Devices,” Dec. 5 at 4:00 p.m.

The annual conference brings together more than 400 members of the products liability defense bar with speakers from more than 25 diverse pharmaceutical and medical device companies. It also features panels from top MDL and state court judges as well as a panel of U.S. Attorneys.
