Greenberg Traurig’s Fred E. Karlinsky and Lori S. Nugent Participate in Casualty Actuarial Society’s Spring Meeting

FORT LAUDERDALE AND TALLAHASSEE, FL – June 8, 2017 – Fred E. Karlinsky, a shareholder in the Fort Lauderdale and Tallahassee offices of international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., and Lori S. Nugent, a shareholder in the firm’s Dallas office, participated on a panel titled “Data and Cybersecurity: Legal and Regulatory Developments” at the recent Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Spring Meeting in Toronto, Canada.

Karlinsky and Nugent were joined by Robert Parisi from Marsh. The panel discussion focused on various cybersecurity issues, including recent regulatory activity, the cyber liability insurance market, and breach preparation and response issues.

The CAS Spring Meeting offers the opportunity to earn continuing education credits in various sessions covering relevant and timely topics necessary for continued professional growth and maintaining actuarial credentials. CAS fulfills its mission of advancing actuarial science through research and education.

Karlinsky is Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice and a shareholder within the Government Law & Policy Group.
