NEW YORK – Jan. 15, 2019 – The Lawyer, a UK-based legal publication, has announced what it called “the cream of the Continental crop,” The Lawyer European Awards shortlist 2019. Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, with four of its 38 offices in Europe, is one of only four law firms on the list for the Global Firm of the Year in Europe Award.
According to the publication, the shortlist, published Jan. 14, spans firms large and small, from European giants to specialist boutiques. For the first time The Lawyer will combine its award for US Law Firm of the Year in Europe with its UK Law Firm of the Year in Europe award, and there will be one award for Global Firm of the Year in Europe. Winners in this and 20-plus other categories will be announced at an upcoming awards event on March 19, 2019, in London.
