WEST PALM BEACH – April 25, 2019 – Bradford D. Kaufman, Co-President of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., was reappointed to serve a three-year term on the board of trustees for the Town of Palm Beach Retirement System. He has served in that role since 2016.
The board of trustees acts in a fiduciary capacity for the town’s retirement funds and in an advisory capacity to the town council on matters relating to the administration of the town’s various retirement plans.
“I have enjoyed serving my community as a board trustee and look forward to building on the success we have had,” said Kaufman, who also serves as Greenberg Traurig’s global chairman of Professional Development and Integration. “As I have done in the past, I will continue to work with my fellow board members to help meet the town’s retirement plan objectives.”
Kaufman, who is a shareholder in the firm’s West Palm Beach office and co-chair of the Securities and Litigation Practice, has represented major brokers and dealers, investment banks and investment advisors in all aspects of their business, including traditional litigation in state and federal court as well as arbitrations. He has appeared as counsel in securities cases in most of the Federal Circuit Courts in the United States as well as before the United States Supreme Court. He has also represented his clients in regulatory proceedings, arbitrations and administrative actions before FINRA, the New York Stock Exchange, National Association of Securities Dealers, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, National Futures Association, American Stock Exchange, Philadelphia Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
