Greenberg Traurig’s Natassia Kwan Named 2019 Vice Chair of the California Minority Counsel Program Ambassador’s Council

SAN FRANCISCO – April 1, 2019 –Natassia Kwan of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s San Francisco office has been named Vice Chair of the California Minority Counsel Program (CMPC) Ambassador’s Council. Kwan, an associate, is a member of the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation and Products Liability & Mass Torts Practices. The CMPC Ambassador’s Council consists of distinguished in-house counsel or defense attorneys based in California.

CMCP promotes diversity in the legal field by providing attorneys of color with opportunity and access for professional and business development. As Vice Chair of the Ambassador’s Council, Kwan will spearhead and coordinate all Northern California Ambassador Council events, serve as a liaison to the CMCP Board, and help support Chair Cameron Johnson of Hulu in effectuating the CMCP Ambassador’s Council mission. 

Kwan was selected and appointed to the CMCP Ambassador’s Council in 2018. Also in 2018, Kwan was awarded “On the Rise—Top 40 Young Lawyers,” by the American Bar Association (ABA) and serves in the ABA Section of Litigation Young Lawyer Leadership Program. 

 A member of the Greenberg Traurig team honored by The American Lawyer as the 2018 “Products Liability Litigation Department of the Year,” Kwan focuses her practice on defending companies against individual and class action claims in product liability, medical device, and pharmaceutical cases. She practices in both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigation. She also has experience with appeals, writ proceedings, and settlements in individual and mass tort cases. 

Greenberg Traurig, a longtime advocate for diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, was honored as a finalist for CMCP’s 2018 Drucilla Stender Ramey Majority-Owned Law Firm award at the organization’s 29th Annual Business Conference and is an active member of the organization.
