Hackett focuses his practice on representing public and private companies in the biotechnology, insurance, food, retail, entertainment, and financial services sectors in complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and financing transactions. He represents private buyers and sellers in transactions including stock and asset sales, acquisitions from bankruptcy and minority investments. Hackett also drafts corporate bylaws, LLC agreements, purchase agreements, resolutions, certificates, assignments, services agreements, and legal opinions.
Hackett received his law degree from Boston College Law School, an M.B.A. from Boston College, Carroll School of Management, and his undergraduate degrees from Cornell University.
