ORLANDO – Aug. 20, 2019 – The Orlando office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. has added Jonathan R. Pickett as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice.
“We welcome Jonathan as a new member of our Real Estate practice, which continues to grow,” said Orlando L. Evora, co-managing shareholder of the Orlando office. “He adds significant talent to our team of attorneys who are consistently involved in many of central Florida’s top real estate transactions.”
Pickett focuses his practice on transactional real estate, handling matters involving acquisitions and dispositions, landlord/tenant law, and title insurance. He also has experience in commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Pickett completed internships in the Georgia House of Representatives, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the Metro Capital Defenders Conflict Office. He currently serves as co-chair of the Orange County Bar Association’s mentoring committee.
Pickett received his J.D. cum laude from Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and managing editor of the Emory Law Journal. Pickett received his B.A. in English and Political Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Kentucky.
