Cynthia Marian to Participate in 100 Women in Finance Webinar on Alternative Investments

MIAMI – Sept. 27, 2021 Greenberg Traurig Corporate Shareholder Cynthia A. Marian, will participate in a webinar on “Current Trends in Raising and Investing Capital in Alternative Investments,” presented by 100 Women in Finance. The webinar will take place on Sept. 29, 2021 at 1 p.m. EDT.

Cynthia and three other panelists will discuss how various industry trends and global events, including the burgeoning use of digital assets in financing and investment strategies, growing interest in ESG and related reporting requirements, and the Covid pandemic are having a profound impact on how fund managers are structuring offerings and how investors are deciding which opportunities to pursue.

Cynthia advises private equity fund sponsors, hedge fund managers, large and complex asset managers, and many smaller and start-up alternative investment advisers on a wide range of corporate, tax, regulatory compliance, and operational matters germane to their investment management businesses. She also represents institutional investors making investments in private funds, including in the negotiation of seed deals, side letters, and co-investments. Her broad experience includes successive in-house general counsel and chief compliance officer positions with SEC-registered private equity and hedge fund managers.
