David C. Ehmke is an associate in the Restructuring and Insolvency Group of GT Restructuring in Germany. He focuses his practice on insolvency law and insolvency administration. David advises debtors and creditors on the reorganization of distressed companies in in-court proceedings, as well as in contractual workouts outside of formal insolvency proceedings. Another concentration of his practice is on judicial and extrajudicial dispute resolution.

A strong focus of his interdisciplinary studies and work is on international restructurings and insolvencies. He has spent several years of studies and research in the area of law and finance/economics at University of Oxford, University of Pennsylvania, and Columbia University. David regularly publishes articles on insolvency and restructuring from a legal and economic perspective.
