ACC Tampabay CLE Luncheon - The Attorney-Client Privilege and the In-House Dilemma

The attorney-client privilege, in its basic form, protects confidential communications between lawyer and client from disclosure to third parties.  While this privilege may seem straightforward when outside counsel is involved, many nuances come into play when the privilege is applied in the context of in-house counsel communicating with a corporate executive or employee, as well as outside auditors.  Privilege issues are also paramount while conducting internal investigations and meeting with government officials.  Greenberg Traurig Shareholders Gregory Kehoe and Danielle Kemp will join Karen Mulroe, Chief Legal Officer of Greenway Health to present in a panel forum best practices for assuring the maintenance of privilege and how to avoid the inadvertent waiver of privilege.
