Greenberg Traurig’s Lori Cohen to Co-Chair ACI’s Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law Conference

ATLANTA (July 22, 2014) – Greenberg Traurig’s Lori Cohen will serve as co-chair of the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) Women Leaders in Life Sciences Law Conference. Cohen will co-chair the conference along with Elona Kogan, Chief Legal Counsel of Avanir Pharmaceuticals, and Gael Diane Tisack, Terumo Cardiovascular Group Vice President of Legal Affairs and Terumo Americas Vice President of Intellectual Property. In addition to her role as co-chair of the conference, Cohen will moderate a panel titled “Breaking through the Glass Ceiling: Increasing the Prominence of Women in Leadership Positions in Life Sciences Law.” She is a shareholder and chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Health Care Litigation Practice. Cohen also chairs the firm’s national Trial Practice Group and co-chairs the Atlanta Litigation Practice.

Greenberg Traurig is also a leading sponsor of the conference, which takes place Monday, July 28 and Tuesday, July 29 at the Omni Parker House in Boston. This is the summit’s inaugural year, which aims to promote diversity and increase the prominence of women in the life sciences legal community. The conference will include legal discussions, professional development and networking.
