Premier Government Law Attorney Sam NeJame Joins Greenberg Traurig in Albany

ALBANY, NY Dec. 4, 2015Sam NeJame, a highly respected New York government law and policy attorney, has joined the Albany office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP as a shareholder. NeJame has a particular focus representing the New York real estate industry, including the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), along with SL Green and Tishman Speyer, two of Manhattan’s largest commercial landlords. He also represents important corporate and civic organizations as well as a wide variety of other clients with a major presence in New York State, including New York City.

Greenberg Traurig represents Fortune 500 companies and leading health care companies, major nonprofit institutions, and large real estate companies in legislative and regulatory matters.  As the newest addition to the Albany office, NeJame will work closely with the attorneys in Greenberg Traurig's New York City office, which has one of the largest real estate practices in the City.

NeJame is an adjunct professor at The Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at State University of New York (SUNY) Albany, teaching a course on New York State government, the law, and lobbying. He also frequently guest lectures on the topic of government relations and the law at SUNY Albany and for various trade association boards. NeJame received his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, and his B.A. from Syracuse University Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs.
