Greenberg Traurig Elevates Two Attorneys in Albany Office

Firm Names 2015 Shareholder/Of Counsel Class

ALBANY, N.Y. – Feb. 25, 2015 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced the elevation of Joshua Oppenheimer to shareholder and Lynelle Bosworth to of counsel. Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig elevated 32 attorneys to shareholder and 20 to of counsel to its 2015 class.

  • Oppenheimer is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Government Law & Policy Practice. He focuses his practice on governmental affairs and on issues relating to governmental ethics, lobbying laws, and campaign finance. He has experience representing clients before the New York State legislative and executive branches, focusing mainly on legislation and regulation involving health, environmental, labor, and transportation policy, as well as racing and gaming issues. Additionally, Oppenheimer counsels corporations, nonprofit organizations, political parties, political committees, candidates, and advocacy groups regarding federal, state, and local laws that govern political activity, lobbying, governmental procurement, and general interactions between government and the private sector. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with various members of the New York State Assembly, as well as the New York State Board of Elections and New York State Attorney General’s office.
  • Bosworth is a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Health & FDA Business Practice. She focuses her practice on matters pertaining to health care, regulatory, and governmental affairs. Prior to joining the firm, Bosworth was associate counsel for the Health Committee of the New York State Assembly where she advised the Assembly Speaker and the Health Committee Chair on budgetary and policy priorities regarding Medicaid, public health and federal health care reform, as well as drafted and negotiated legislation on critical policy issues. She also served as counsel to the Corporations, Authorities and Commissions Committee, and Transportation Committee of the New York State Assembly.
