Maria Sendra Joins Greenberg Traurig, Breathing New Life into the Firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice in Silicon Valley

EAST PALO ALTO, Calif. – Nov. 14, 2016 – Continuing its strategic growth in Northern California, the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added Maria Sendra as a shareholder in its Silicon Valley office. Joining the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice, Sendra is the latest addition in a stream of local hires over the past year, which also include: Paul A. “Dash” McLean, David M. Lisi, Francoise Gilbert, Amanda D. Donson, Stephanie D. Ahmad, and Allison J. Bridges. Sendra joined the firm from Dentons.

Sendra has wide-ranging experience advising clients on venture capital and private equity transactions, strategic alliances, joint ventures and public offerings. She regularly assists clients in a variety of industries on all areas of SEC compliance, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, including numerous cross-border transactions involving Latin America, Asia and Europe. Her experience extends across a wide range of sectors, including data analytics, IoT, energy, cleantech, biotechnology, digital healthcare, entertainment, consumer goods, retail and e-commerce sales and scaled revenue strategies.  Sendra has a background in molecular biophysics and biochemistry, and she received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, an M.A. from Indiana University, and B.A. from Yale University.
