Greenberg Traurig Germany Advises TH Real Estate on the Sale of the Office Building “Cube Berlin”

BERLIN – Jan. 10, 2017 – Greenberg Traurig Germany has advised the European Cities Fund, managed by TH Real Estate, on the purchase of the development project “Cube Berlin” located at the main station in Berlin. The European Cities Fund is a pan-European real estate fund that currently has an investment capital of approximately 700 million euros. The fund purchased the property as part of a forward deal from CA Immo Deutschland GmbH. The seller will implement the project within the next three years. The handover is scheduled for 2019. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The "Cube Berlin" is to be one of the most modern office buildings in Germany, using intelligent building technology, thus becoming a pioneer in the Smart Building segment. Due to a modular and flexible architecture, ideal conditions for new, individual work are created. In total, the "Cube Berlin" will comprise of a leasable floor space of approximately 18,500 square meters, spread over ten floors.

Greenberg Traurig advised the buyer in all German corporate and real estate matters regarding the transaction.
